Brave Goose Vineyard. Tallarook Ranges, Central Victoria

We make all our wines in our boutique cellar using traditional winemaking techniques. All our reds are fermented in small open topped fermenters, followed by basket pressing, and maturation in our best French oak barrels.

Cabernet Merlot


This wine has a deep crimson colour, complex nose of plum and berries, with subtle undertones of cassis, smoked bacon, and spices. The pleasantly integrated French oak, coupled with elegant fine tannins make this wine well balanced and satisfying on the palate. Blend: 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 5% Malbec.



The flagship of our vineyard, our shiraz is an elegant wine with floral aromas of violets and apple blossom, with flavours of pepper, allspice, and dried cranberries on the palate. The finish is lingering and complemented by a creamy texture and velvety tannins.



A spicy and well structured example of this variety, this wine exhibits beautiful ripe berry and tamarillo flavours, complemented with savoury notes and a slight pepper complexity. The low yielding iron stone soils of the Brave Goose Vineyard are ideal for coaxing the best from our Merlot vines.
